I open the clip menu for the Acoustic Guitar, in Playlist, under Sampler, I click on "Open Editor".Nothing opens. Something also interesting: Funny you mentioned Edison, and that there was a Clip there. When you're using your particular set-up, guitar out of Mixer Insert output, can you add effects and still record a clip and achieve clarity, or something resembling what you expect to hear? If yes, why does your FL20 work in that respect and not mine? Even if it is tedious, an FL Guru such as yourself uses that technique to your advantage. I appreciate that! There's something wrong if I can't use Mixer Insert outputs with Effects. Thanks Again Unaspected - Finally, some corroboration about this. Unaspected, if you, or anyone out there has a fix for FL20 in these regards, (besides "Shut up and use the Master"), I'd be really grateful. Is it clean? It should be, and would've been in FL12. ![]() My thought: Just record quick track, try it without Master, add an Effect in slot. wavs that consist of 8-bar guitar snippet. ![]() I'm not using Master Track, I'm just using Mixer Insert Track outputs 1 & 2, to Focusrite ASIO. If I open any Effects in any Effects Slot, it immediately trashes the sound. On the other hand, if I put together a new Project, like the one I'm referencing now in my thread, the problem is slightly different.Įasier to convey verbally: Track 1- Scarbee bass in Kontakt 5. ![]() ![]() Pump it all through the Master? Clean as a whistle. Fortunately, I'm a backer-upper.:-) Besides that, now, anything coming out of Mixer Track Outputs, sounds horrible. If I open an old Project, that Project now becomes unopenable again in FL12 (and pre-12, I suppose. Even though, the mods at Image-line consider my method half-assed, it worked before, and does not work now. It all involves my history of making Projects without using the Master Track. Thanks Unaspected - Ever since FL20 came out, I've found myself involved in much bench testing, which can be bench pressing my brain, I think.
